The TR48 top case is designed, engineered and made 100% in Barcelona with capacity for one helmet (Trail) or 2 helmets (Flip-up and jet). Made from hardened aluminium alloy, a stronger and lighter type of aluminium which allows a reduced cross section of 1.2mm to obtain a minimum weight with maximum resistance. The TERRA BLACK EDITION is finished with scratch resistant powder coated paint. Includes the patented “TERRA Lock System”.
- Capacity for 1 helmet (Trail) or 2 helmets (Flip-up and jet).
- “TERRA Lock System” patented. Includes the lock mechanism and a retractable carrying handle. Designed for quick use with one hand which allows the user to open, close, mount and remove the case in just a few seconds.
- It has an aerodynamic, integrated structure made from a hardened aluminium alloy.
- Internal foam base that reduces the movement of the inside load.
- The case’s rubber sealed frame protects the interior from unfavourable weather conditions (water resistance).
- Possibility of adding additional load thanks to its external AISI 304 stainless steel hooks.
- Requires the installation of a SHAD Top Master and a mounting plate (not included). Three options of mounting plates: SHAD standard plate (D1B591PA), the Aluminium mounting plate (D1BTRPA) or the Black Aluminium mounting plate (D1BTRPA2).
- The keys and lock cylinder are the new premium version from SHAD, with a system that reduces the chance of theft and with a cover that stops dust from entering. The lock cylinders are easy to change: You can unify the top & side cases for use it with one key.

- BMW key compatibility: The Wunderlich cylinder (Ref.: 30164-000) can be installed, allowing the use of the original BMW key.
